At night, it pulls out smoothly into a 161.5 × 112 cm bed – long enough to reach 197 cm corner-to-corner. For models with a longer rear bay area, an extension section is included with every kit to increase the bed’s length to 168.5 cm. It’s perfect for solo travellers and cosy couples, with a sturdy poplar plywood frame that supports up to 200 kg. And because it uses a 120 cm sliding section, you can shift effortlessly between lounge mode and sleep mode in seconds.

Underneath the bed, you’ll find one of the Weekender’s smartest tricks: integrated cooler storage. Designed to fit a 20L cooler with both top and front access, it keeps food and drinks easy to reach whether you’re inside the van or chilling outside. No digging, no shuffling gear around – just grab and go.

Next to the bed sits the A1 Compact Side Unit, a slimline storage hero designed specifically for micro vans. It slots in perfectly beside the bed, giving you 160 litres of space for clothes, food, gear, or daily essentials. Even in bed mode, the unit remains easily accessible thanks to clever door placement. With a small work surface on top, it becomes a handy spot for prepping snacks, organising gear, or placing your morning coffee.

Like all Simple Vans furniture, the Weekender is built from lightweight, strong, modular poplar plywood, supplied in raw wood so you can finish it your way – oil it, varnish it, or paint it to match your style. It’s easy to assemble with basic tools, solid on the road, and surprisingly spacious once installed.
