The Door Kitchen layout is a classic solution for vanlifers who like to keep a little privacy when keeping the side door open on a hot day. Designed to sit in front of the sliding side door, this compact kitchen layout features a CT Drawer Unit and a CF Cooler Unit, giving you everything you need for meal prep without taking up valuable cabin space.
The CT Drawer Unit provides three smooth-gliding drawers with strong quality sliders, ideal for storing utensils, spices, and other small essentials.
The CF Cooler Unit is designed to fit a 40L portable cooler, with a sliding top or bottom drawer for easy access to your food and drinks. This combination makes for a small yet versatile kitchen setup that keeps everything organized and within reach.
Positioned strategically in front of the side door, the Door Kitchen layout lets you cook with the door open, enjoying fresh air and the view, while maintaining a sense of privacy. The open design ensures that enough space is left for easy entry and exit via the sliding side door, making it practical and unobtrusive.
With most of the cabin space left free, this layout is perfect for adding a seating combo or keeping the area open for a more spacious feel. Whether you’re parked by the beach, in the forest, or at a campsite, the Door Kitchen offers the best of both worlds: privacy and connection to the outdoors.
B4 – Sliding Bed 112 x 164 (extension up to 171cm)
We’ve redesigned our popular slider bed to fit perfectly into a compact van. The new bed’s dimensions are 162 x 112cm, making it 197cm long on the diagonal – plenty for most solo travellers… and couples who like to spoon! For models with a longer rear bay area, an extension section is included with every kit to increase the bed’s length to 169cm.
The bed features a 120cm pull-out section, allowing it to quickly and easily convert from a 60cm deep bench seat to bed. Better still, this can all be done from inside the van with the doors closed – great for rainy days. The storage area has three access hatches, two of which are accessible while the bed is out. Meanwhile the 40x112cm front section can be accessed both from the side in bed mode and above in bench mode, making it the perfect place for a 15L coolbox.

A1 – A side unit perfectly adapted
At the heart of the Weekender is the all-new side unit – a smart little sister to our full size models. The depth has been scaled down to allow for a wider bed, but it’s still big enough to store 2 x 12L water containers below – and make a sandwich on top. As with all our side units, the top storage compartment can be opened with the bed out. And, if you still need a little extra storage, why not add a D1 overhead unit above it?
