CHOOSE YOUR FURNITURE WELL
Simple Vans furniture has been designed with special conditions described in this guide.
If your van does not meet these criteria but you would still like to use our products, this is still possible by taking the furniture in UNIVERSAL version.
You will then need to carry out a dry assembly and make the necessary cuts to fit the interior shapes of your van.

Walls & cladding
The furniture has been designed to fit the shape of standard 5mm plywood interior trim.
If you choose to create a frame with paneling, you will need to choose the universal furniture range and cut it to fit the interior shapes of your van.
The floor
The furniture has been designed for a floor thickness + flooring of 15 mm without insulation underneath.
However, if you have a slightly thicker or thinner floor (between 9 mm and 18 mm), you will not encounter any particular problems. A wooden floor is required to securely fix our furniture to it.
If you raise your floor for insulation, you will need to choose the universal furniture range.
The Ceiling
The ceiling will only affect you for the D4, D5 and D1 universal furniture references (excluding D1 T5) depending on whether you are creating a 5mm plywood ceiling like the original or a paneled ceiling.

These may need to be cut to fit your ceiling (paneling or 5mm plywood).
Kitchen unit C4/C5/C6 rendering
Kitchen units are universal, meaning they are not custom-cut to fit the wall of your van as the slight gap created is hidden once the mattress is in place.
Sliding bed rendering
The sliding bed has been designed to fit in the largest number of vans. As this furniture is universal, you may need to make some cuts so that it adapts to the configuration of your van. Indeed, certain combinations of furniture and/or the presence of a partition may affect the available length for your comb bed.
Always remember to check your measurements at a height of 40 cm from the floor.
Side unit rendering
All side unit is custom-made for your van model. If it is not intended for your van, you will need to take the universal version and make any necessary cuts.
All side unit has been custom-made for your van model only if it is fitted with original 5mm thick wooden panels.
If you have installed another type of paneling (e.g. paneling) or if it is not intended for your van, you will need to take the universal version and make any necessary cuts.
