Payment methods
Simple Vans offers you the choice between 2 options to pay for your order:
- Pay by bank card directly on the site
- Pay by bank transfer ( our IBAN will be presented to you at the end of the order process)
First of all, if you pay by bank transfer, we thank you, as this does not incur any additional costs for us. Then, simply validate the order and make the transfer to the IBAN indicated on the order page when you check bank transfer.
Please indicate your order number as the reason for the transfer. We know that transfers can take more or less time depending on the bank. As soon as we receive the transfer, we acknowledge receipt.
Bank transfers can take several business days to reach our account. Don’t worry, we validate payments almost daily (except on weekends and public holidays), so your order should be updated soon.
Delivery
Our delivery times vary depending on the order period:
Low season: Production takes only 5 to 7 days, plus 3 to 5 days for shipping.
High season: Production may take up to 3–4 weeks, plus 5 to 7 days for shipping. For international deliveries, this may extend by a few days and take up to 3 weeks for complex destinations.
Always refer to the product page for the most up-to-date delivery times. We encourage you to allow sufficient time for your conversion project to proceed smoothly. Plan a safety margin to install your furniture without stress :) Transport delays can occur, and we do not want to disrupt anyone’s holidays.
We work with two transport companies: GEODIS and GLS.
Fewer than three items (excluding mattresses): Parcels are shipped individually via GLS. You will receive a notification by SMS when GLS collects your package. They do not offer specific delivery slots but can deliver to a local collection point if you are unavailable.
More than three items: Items are shipped on a pallet via GEODIS. You will be contacted by email when the pallet is ready, and you can arrange a delivery date (time slots are not available).
No, deliveries take place Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.
If the mattress is in stock, it will arrive within the same timeframe as your furniture. However, stock shortages occur frequently, and our limited storage capacity means we operate on a just-in-time basis. In some cases, you may need to wait up to three weeks for your mattress. Approximate restocking dates are always listed on the product page.
Please plan ahead if you have a specific departure date.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you add items to your basket. Log into your account and add or remove items to see the exact total.
For destinations outside the EU, please note:
Customs duties may apply. Contact local authorities to determine applicable fees and regulations.
Invoices will exclude VAT. Import formalities and local VAT charges will be your responsibility upon delivery.
Shipping times may be extended due to customs processes, ranging from 10 to 21 days.

Questions about our Beds & Kits
The B120 is a double bed measuring 180 x 120 cm. It can be extended to 187 cm using a small extension, which we provide free of charge.
However, not all vehicles can accommodate this extension. Please measure your available floor space to ensure all selected furniture fits, including the extension if needed.
In some cases, you may need to move the bed as far back as possible in the vehicle, which may require cutting an angle at the rear of the bed to fit the vehicle's shape. A cut may also be necessary at the central pillar. Templates for these cuts are available upon request.
Note for narrower vehicles (e.g., Expert, Jumpy): Due to limited width, the bed can only open to 113–115 cm, depending on your insulation and cladding thickness.
For more details, visit the product page:
https://simplevans.eu/en/beds/65-sliding-bed-b120.html
The B130 is a generous double bed measuring 180 x 130 cm. It can also be extended to 187 cm with a free extension.
Ensure your vehicle has enough floor space to fit the furniture and extension. As with the B120, you may need to position the bed fully to the rear, requiring cuts for the rear and central pillars.
Templates for these cuts are available upon request.
Note: The bed cannot unfold to 130 cm if paired with a side unit, as the vehicle width will not accommodate both.
For detailed specifications, visit:
https://simplevans.eu/en/beds/66-sliding-bed-b130.html
The B4 is a compact bed designed for smaller vehicles like the Caddy, Kangoo, Partner, or Berlingo. It offers a sleeping area of 160 x 112 cm, extendable to 187 cm with a free extension.
As with other beds, ensure your vehicle’s floor space can accommodate the furniture and extension. Cutting may be required at the rear of the bed to fit the vehicle shape.
For those without side furniture, the bed can extend to 120 cm if the vehicle width permits.
For detailed specifications, visit:
https://simplevans.eu/en/beds/67-compact-sliding-bed-b4.html
Our mattresses are anthracite grey, and this is currently the only available colour.
For more details on available sizes and options, visit the mattress section of our website.
Unfortunately, we no longer sell these cushions.
The original dimensions were 47 x 28.7 x 8 cm, and two cushions are required for the L-shaped section. You can order custom cushions from mamoussesurmesure.com in your preferred size and colour.
Currently, the B130 bed cannot unfold to 130 cm when paired with side units A2, A3, or A4. It can only unfold to 120 cm in such cases, requiring custom mattress adjustments. We do not sell mattresses for this combination.
Here is a summary of the two kits:
Nomad Kit (L1): €1,999
Includes: B120, D6, A4, C5, D1
The A4 side unit provides extra storage and an exterior-access trap door, extending 40 cm beyond the sliding door.
Nomad Kit (L2): €2,119
Includes: B120, D6, A3, C6, D1
The A3 unit fits the side wall of an L2 vehicle. The C6 kitchen unit includes an additional cupboard compared to the C5 in the L1 version.
Drifter Kit (L1): €1,599
Includes: B120, A2, C5
The A2 side unit is smaller than the A3/A4 in the Nomad kit, with a simple 40 x 50 cm shelf compared to the larger 76 x 50 cm shelves.
Drifter Kit (L2): €1,749
Includes: B120, A3, C5
This version uses the larger A3 side unit with double shelves, but the kitchen unit remains the smaller C5 model.
Our kits are designed to offer a turnkey solution, but you are free to buy individual pieces and create your own configuration. Add items individually to your basket on our website.
Your vehicles and us
Our kits are designed for utility vehicles.
Check our buying guide to confirm compatibility with your vehicle: https://simplevans.eu/en/content/10-purchasing-guide
For non-compatible vehicles, modifications such as removing plastic side covers, installing a 15 mm wooden floor, and adding 5 mm cladding are required.
Our furniture is made from lightweight poplar plywood.
Quick-release kits allow you to remove furniture in minutes without tools.
If you prefer standard brackets (supplied with all furniture), you can easily install/remove the furniture using a screwdriver.
For Peugeot Expert or Citroën Jumpy models:
Size M corresponds to an L1H1 for selecting your kit/furniture (vehicle length: 4.95 m).
Size XL corresponds to an L2H1 (vehicle length: 5.30 m).
Size XS is not compatible with our L1H1 furniture.
First, refer to our buying guide to ensure your vehicle meets our prerequisites:
https://simplevans.eu/en/content/10-purchasing-guide
Then check the usable floor space in your vehicle against the detailed dimensions provided for each furniture piece on our product pages.
The universal furniture range is designed with straight edges, allowing you to cut and adapt it to your vehicle’s structure. For vehicles clad in panelling, the furniture will fit snugly without modification.

Absolutely!
They are fully compatible and even complementary.
The D6 sliding drawer allows easy access to items from the central aisle of your van.
The D8 kitchen drawer offers a spacious exterior kitchen area from the back of the vehicle.
For a simpler option, you can choose the D7 large rear drawer.
Note: For the B130 bed, the references differ. Use the D9 sliding drawer for the central aisle and the D10 drawer for the rear.
->The D8 kitchen drawer is not compatible with the B130 bed.
The 7 cm extensions are included with all beds. No additional search is needed.
Our included pump has the following specifications:
Voltage: 12 V
Max consumption: 2.2 A
Power: 15–25 W
Pressure: 0.5 bar
Flow rate: Up to 10 L/min
Secure the furniture using the standard metal brackets supplied with each piece or quick-release kits available as optional extras.
Furniture is fixed to your wooden floor, which must be securely attached to the vehicle’s chassis. For taller units, such as rear columns or side units, add an additional bracket to prevent tipping.
For units like the A2, A3, and A4, place brackets either on the sides of the worktop or the top of the columns, ensuring additional anchor points.
All furniture comes with standard fittings (metal brackets and screws).
For technical reasons, you may prefer to use our quick-release kits, which are sold separately:
https://simplevans.eu/en/accessories/72-quick-release-attachments-d2.html
The dropdown menu allows you to select the appropriate quantity for your kit.
Our quick-release kits are your best option.
These allow you to install and remove furniture in no time using inserts in your wooden floor and butterfly screws that require no tools.

Design & implementation
Currently, we recommend placing a toilet (e.g., BOXIO) in the C3 rear column or the designated space in the C6 front unit.
If you prefer to place it elsewhere, ensure your floor space allows for this, considering practicality and convenience.
Unfortunately, we do not offer mirrored designs. However, the B120 and B130 beds can be adapted with DIY modifications, such as:
- Adding a latch to the rear door (as the existing latch will be at the front).
- Building an additional door for the space where none is provided.
Note: We do not guarantee furniture that has been structurally modified. Proceed with caution if you plan to adapt furniture yourself.
No, we do not offer bespoke furniture or custom dimensions.
For tailored furniture, we recommend contacting a professional outfitter.

Oils & Paints
Here are the surface areas for each piece:
- B120/B130 beds: 4.5 m²
- A2: 3 m²
- A3/A4: 4.5 m²
- C5/C3: 3 m²
- C6: 4.5 m²
- Drawers: 1–2 m²
-> Multiply these areas if applying more than one coat.
We do not have a specific brand recommendation. Use any wood glue you’re familiar with, including plant-based options if preferred.
Here are some examples:
We use Rubio Monocoat for our furniture, which is available in a range of colours to personalise your wood finish. This oil nourishes the wood and protects it from humidity.
Alternatively, a marine varnish can be used for added durability, though it will create a shiny film that alters the wood’s appearance. You can also paint the furniture with the colour of your choice.
Technical questions
To qualify for VASP, the following criteria must be met:
- A table inside the vehicle.
- A kitchen area with a fixed water point and cooking point.
- Storage space.
- A bed.
If any of these elements are missing, you will not be eligible for VASP and will not need to dismantle furniture for a technical inspection.
For certification, schedule an appointment with DREAL to verify compliance and update your documents
If your van does not meet VASP criteria, the inspector cannot require the removal of furniture. You can pass the inspection as is.
This depends on your vehicle and chosen furniture. To avoid removal, check your usable floor space to ensure compatibility with the furniture dimensions.
For smaller vehicles (e.g., Berlingo, Kangoo): Removing at least the lower section of the partition may be necessary.
If you have 160 cm of length at a height of 40 cm from the floor, the B4 bed can fit.
Il faut se baser sur le point le plus haut du bosselage du plancher métallique du van.
Yes, a securely fixed wooden floor is mandatory for safety during travel.
Our furniture is designed for a 15 mm floor thickness, but thicknesses between 9 mm and 18 mm are also compatible.
If you elevate your floor for insulation, choose the universal furniture range to accommodate the height.
Not yet, but this may be added to our range in the future
We do not sell floor templates or flooring. Templates can often be found online, or you can purchase second-hand pre-cut floors. For the best results, consult professional outfitters.
Use the highest point of the metal floor ridges in your van as the reference point for measuring the 15 mm thickness.
No, we only manufacture poplar plywood furniture for self-assembly.
For technical services, we recommend consulting professional outfitters. You can find a list of our partners here:

The Simple PLUS range includes
all the furniture intended for the largest vans.
Your vehicles and us
To determine if your van is suitable for our Simple PLUS kits, simply check that you have sufficient floor space and usable height.
For larger vans, technical constraints are minimal, and the walls are relatively similar. The only difference will be your installation options, which may vary depending on the width and length of the vehicle (e.g., L2, L3, L4).
Here are the three main measurements you'll need to take for your vehicle:
Width: Measure from the left sidewall to the right sidewall (it doesn’t matter if it’s clad in panelling, plywood, or other materials).
Height: No specific impact; simply check that the height of our furniture suits your requirements.
Length: Measure at a height of 80 cm from the finished floor. Always measure from the start of the rear pillar to the front pillar as shown below.
Our Simple PLUS furniture is designed to fit wheel arch clearances up to the following dimensions:
Without cutting: 41 cm high, 19 cm deep.
With cutting: 41 cm high, 24 cm deep.
Please account for the thickness of your insulation. Clearances larger than this will not allow installation of our furniture range, so always double-check your measurements.
The PLUS range is offered in a universal format, meaning the edges are square and adaptable to most wall types, whether covered in standard cladding or laths with panelling.
Minor cuts may be needed for precise fitting or to accommodate specific vehicle features, such as non-linear walls or protruding reinforcements. In 90% of cases, no cuts will be necessary to align with the van’s contours.
Technical questions
All our furniture is crafted from 15 mm and 10 mm poplar plywood. Thickness is selected based on the structural requirements to ensure the best balance between aesthetics and durability.
For the PLUS range:
- Cabinet structure: 10 mm
- Bed structure: 15 mm
- Overhead furniture: 10 mm
- Kitchen and overhead furniture doors: 15 mm
- Seating: 15 mm
To calculate the central aisle width, consider the total layout and the van's width after cladding and insulation (which impacts available space).
- For a Ducato or Boxer with 5 mm wall cladding:
If the finished space between the walls is 185 cm, the central aisle will be approximately 65 cm wide.
For each centimetre less than 185 cm, reduce the aisle width accordingly.
- For a Sprinter/Crafter with 175 cm between finished walls, the central aisle will be about 55 cm wide.
If your van does not meet VASP eligibility criteria, the inspector cannot require furniture removal, and you can pass the technical inspection as is.
To qualify for VASP, certain criteria must be met:
- A table inside the vehicle.
- A kitchen area with a fixed water point and cooking point.
- Storage.
- A bed.
If any of these elements are missing, you are not eligible for VASP and do not need to dismantle the furniture for inspection. For VASP certification, book an appointment with the DREAL to check compliance and update your documents.
You can choose the cladding style you prefer! A simple plywood cladding close to the metal body will suffice, with thicker cladding affecting the final aisle width. Thicker cladding narrows the central aisle, so select the option that suits you best.
You can design your floors and ceilings as you wish. The thickness you choose for these elements will affect the final height between your bed and the ceiling, so make sure it suits your requirements.
Note: In 70% of cases, a slight adjustment of the overhead furniture may be necessary to fit perfectly with the cladding in your van.
As noted in the questions about cladding, floors, and ceilings, insulation can vary in thickness depending on your thermal performance needs.
The insulation’s thickness will impact the final height and/or width available in your van. It’s up to you to find the right balance.
Cabinets: Cutting is not required, as they are optimised for universal use across most vehicles.
Seating: Generally, no cutting is needed. However, if you have a panel with a bulge (e.g., in a Ducato or Sprinter), you can make a small cut using a jigsaw.
Bed: Only the wheel arch sections may need modification if necessary.
Overhead furniture: Yes, you can cut the central supports and sides to adapt to your van.
Ensure you perform a dry fit before making any cuts.
Cabinets and seating: We provide 4x30 screws for securing the furniture to the floor and 4x20 screws for attaching cabinets to each other.
Bed: 4x30 screws and metal brackets are supplied for floor mounting.
Overhead furniture: These lightweight units can be screwed directly into ceiling reinforcements, cladding, or structural laths.
For frequent dismantling, consider our quick-fix D2 kits, which use an insert and butterfly screw for tool-free removal.
You can place your electrical system:
- Behind or under the driver’s seat.
- Under the passenger bench seat.
- Inside one of the seating units (small or large PLUS).
Some users have fitted an EcoFlow Delta inside the kitchen cabinet, provided the lower shelf is not installed.
19-litre water containers can fit in the large PLUS kitchen unit (42 cm wide), though the second interior shelf will need to be removed.
Alternatively, a reservoir can be placed in the corner of the kitchen behind the driver’s seat or elsewhere, depending on its dimensions.
Yes, this is possible and has been successfully done by some of our partners. Ensure dimensions of both the furniture and your equipment are compatible and make any necessary adjustments for installation.
Our large PLUS kitchen unit or seating units (small or large PLUS) can accommodate toilets like the Boxio brand. For other toilet brands, check dimensions and ensure compatibility with available space.
Yes! All our cabinets are highly modular, allowing placement on the left, right, or even behind the front seats.
Just remember to account for the door opening direction.
We chose to prioritize spacious sleeping areas and ample storage. Adding a shower would be a complex project for individuals to install.
However, a skilled DIYer could adapt the furniture to create a removable shower if desired.
We’ve opted for simplicity, and we believe a portable stove is the best solution! It’s easy to move outdoors, allowing you to cook anywhere, regardless of the weather. This streamlined approach enables quicker adventures without the technical hassle of obtaining VASP certification.
The furniture is designed for larger vehicles (both in width and height). While it’s not specifically recommended for a T6, it’s still possible if the usable floor space is sufficient, and you’re willing to make necessary adjustments. Note: The warranty does not apply to furniture that has been cut or structurally modified. You assume full responsibility for any adaptations.
Yes, if that’s your preferred setup, but bear in mind:
- This bed is designed for smaller vehicles (L1H1) with narrower and lower wheel arches.
- In larger vans, the bed will need to be placed away from the wheel arches to fit correctly.
Yes, absolutely! As we don’t modify the chassis, you’re free to add a large water tank or have one installed by a professional. However, keep your vehicle’s maximum load capacity in mind to avoid exceeding it.
The PLUS fridge unit is designed for a 50L fridge, but you can install a larger fridge in a different location if desired. Our modular design allows you to customise your setup with the elements that suit you best.
It’s possible, provided your vehicle includes certified rear seats for safe and legal child transport. If your floor space accommodates our large bed and possibly a small seating unit, you’ll have a spacious 190 x 185 cm bed plus an additional 180 x 55 cm single bed for a comfortable family setup.
No, our seating units are not certified for passenger transport. However, if your van has certified rear seats with seatbelts listed on the registration, you can safely travel with additional passengers.
Due to logistical constraints, we cannot ship large worktops. For kitchen setups with more than three modules, it’s up to you to source a bespoke worktop in your desired wood and thickness. We do offer three "kitchen kits" with 2–3 functional units that include worktops. Details can be found on our website under the Simple PLUS section.

All beds in the Simple PLUS range can support up to 200 kg. While our beds are robust and tested, reasonable use is advised.
DIY Info
No, the furniture comes as flat-packed kits in large boxes. If assembly isn’t your forte, check the "Partners" section on our website for professionals near you who can assist with assembly.
While cabinets and seating can be assembled solo, we recommend two people for the bed assembly due to its size.
Estimated times (depending on your DIY skills):
- Fridge/cooler cabinet PLUS: 1 hour.
- BMAX bed: 3 hours.
- Drawer kitchen unit PLUS: 1.5 hours.
- Door kitchen unit PLUS: 40 minutes.
- Overhead cabinet PLUS: 40 minutes.
- Seating: 1 hour.
Before starting, ensure you have the following:
- A drill with screwdriver bits.
- Wood glue.
- Paper towels.
- Masking tape.
- A carpenter’s pencil.
- Clamps.
- An optional jigsaw for cuts.
Modules & Accessories
Yes, they are compatible regardless of van size. Simply cut the table width to fit your van's dimensions and align it with the other blocks to form an additional sleeping area
There are several options for table legs:
1. Sliding rail system fixed to the van wall:
You’ll need to purchase a folding table leg separately.
- Sliding rail: Sliding Rail for Table Plate
- Folding leg: Articulated Folding Table Leg
2. Swivelling table leg mounted to the Simple PLUS furniture:
Lagun Swivelling Table Leg
It’s possible but not recommended without taking extra precautions.
If you decide to stack the units for full-height storage, ensure they are reinforced securely to prevent detachment during transit.
Also, limit the weight stored in the upper unit.
General Info
Shipping costs are based on the actual weight of the selected furniture. Refer to the product pages and use the cart feature in your account to estimate costs accurately.
This depends on the modules selected. Poplar plywood is lightweight, making it an excellent choice for vehicle conversions with minimal impact on fuel consumption.
Examples:
- BMAX bed + large seating + fridge unit + 32 cm door unit + overhead cabinet = 100 kg
- BMAX bed + small seating + cooler unit + 2x 32 cm door units + 42 cm door unit + 32 cm drawer unit + 2 overhead cabinets + 1 overhead shelf = 150 kg
Poplar is indeed a soft wood, but it’s also incredibly lightweight, which significantly reduces your vehicle's fuel consumption. It’s aesthetically pleasing, with a light and clean finish.
Additionally, our poplar plywood complies with COP2 environmental standards and is sourced within 300 km of our workshops in France or Spain.
If desired, you can protect the wood with your preferred finish, such as marine-grade varnish or paint, for enhanced durability.
With over 2,000 vans equipped, we’re confident in the durability of our furniture. You can visit our Silver Partners listed on our website, who have display models for you to view. We also welcome you to visit us by appointment for a firsthand look at the quality and finish of our furniture. Contact us at info@simplevans.eu with the subject line "Appointment Request for Simple PLUS."
We use SALICE Silentia+ hinges for overhead cabinets, kitchen units, and living room beds. These premium hinges are adjustable for both damping and door alignment, offering durability and silent operation. For the BMAX bed, we use classic piano hinges, which are equally robust and designed to suit the bed’s geometry.
Our drawer slides are from the German supplier SO TECH. They feature ball bearings and soft-close dampers for long-term reliability.
