2026 Deluxe Kits – Fewer Choices, Better Vans
We noticed a pattern in 2025.
People weren't confused about the furniture. They were confused about the options. We had kits in L1 and L2 versions, and we had a growing list of accessories that may or may not have worked with the furniture kit they were interested in. So, quite sensibly, our customers would order the kit they wanted, and see how things went from there. Then, a few months later:

"I should've just ordered it with the drawers."
"Can I still add water easily?"
"I didn't realize I'd use the van this much…"
What usually followed was a second order. Totally understandable – you only really learn how you use a van by using it.
But it often meant paying shipping twice, waiting again, and gradually rebuilding the same setup piece by piece.
So instead of making customers plan perfectly from day one, we decided to give them an easy option to grab the upgrades they were very likely coming back for anyway – saving time, hassle, and usually money for both sides.
So for 2026 we did what we always strive to do – made things more simple.
Our Weekender kit and each of our Classic Collection L1 kits (L2 kits coming soon) now come in two versions:
 
Standard – the clean base build
Deluxe – the version people end up building anyway
Not luxury. Not aesthetic upgrades.

Just the "oh, that's what I wanted" version – with a hefty price discount.

The Real Story: The D8 Kitchen Drawer

If there's one thing that shows what Deluxe actually does, it's the D8 Kitchen Drawer. Telescoping straight out the back of the van when you open the rear doors, this genius accessory turns your sliding bed’s rear storage into an outdoor kitchen. You sit facing the view out of your van, side doors blocking the wind, cooking without stepping inside. Wondering if you’ll ever cook inside the van again (you will, when it rains). Inside stays living space. Outside becomes your dining room. In small vans, this is huge. For Tiny vans like Kangoos and Caddy’s, it’s an absolute game changer. The van suddenly feels twice as big without being bigger. It sounds like storage: in reality it turns a Weekender into a Fortnighter.

The 2026 Deluxe Lineup

Instead of dozens of combinations, here's what Deluxe means for each kit:
Weekender (Tiny): D8 Kitchen Drawer + D6 Side Drawer + D1 Overhead Shelf
Small van footprint. Fixed kitchen. Organised storage. Outdoor cooking. This is where "we just wanted simple" turns into "we're travelling a lot."
Minimalist (Classic): D8 Kitchen Drawer + D6 Side Drawer
Keeps the layout clean and open while the under-bed drawers add a kitchen AND calm your OCD. You still get space – just organized space that doesn't make you twitch.
Roamer (Classic): Water Kit + D6 Side Drawer + D1 Overhead Shelf
Trip-ready becomes travel-ready. The rear unit already holds your fridge and portaloo — now you finally have somewhere to put literally everything else.
Nomad (Classic): Water Kit + D6 Side Drawer + D8 Kitchen Drawer + D1 Overhead Shelf
Our storage-first kit for L1 vans now has so much storage, you’ll actually have to buy things to put in it.
Drifter (Classic): Water Kit + D6 Side Drawer + D8 Kitchen Drawer + D1 Overhead Shelf
The version people slowly assemble over a year. Now available on day one.

Why We Did This

We didn't add Deluxe to sell more. Ok, maybe we did, a bit. But the main reason we added it was because customers were already building it – cautiously, piece by piece. Now the decision is simple: Do you want a clean base build or a fully sorted living space? Both are good. But now they're clear.
