Transcript:
The Nomad is optimised for maximum storage space. It's built for people who want to go on big road trips, get away, and see everything. Everything in the kit is based around our B120 sliding bed — we’ll get into that in a second. We’ve also included:
The A4 side unit, with even more storage than the others
The C5 front kitchen unit
A couple of extras like the D5 top storage and D1 shelf
Let’s take a closer look at each one.
This sliding bed pulls out to 120cm — or 112cm if you're using a van like this Peugeot Expert or Citroën Jumpy. We actually redesigned the whole bed system for 2024 to allow for optional drawers — something lots of people have asked for. Now you get: One drawer on this side One drawer on the other (optional add-ons: D6 and D7) They're amazing. You get access to all your stuff without needing to lift the mattress. And it still only takes about 30 seconds to go from day mode to bed mode. Here’s how it works: Slide out the first section Slide out the second Throw your mattress over (Pro tip: the more pillows you have, the longer it takes!)
The mattresses come with removable covers too, so you can wash them easily. In this van (Peugeot Expert or Jumpy), the maximum bed length is 180cm. In other vans like the T5, Ford Custom, or Renault Trafic, you can add an extension to reach 187cm.
Bed widths: Expert / Jumpy: 112cm
T5 or Trafic: 120cm
Ford Custom: 130cm (requires our wider bed)
Fun fact: the bed in a VW California costing €80K is also 112cm wide — so this is not a compromise!
A4 Side Unit Next up is the A4, the biggest side unit in our range — and probably the most underrated feature. There are: Five doors in total, Three of them still accessible even when the bed is extended — something that’s often overlooked in van design You’ve also got:
Push-lock doors
Rounded corners for a more finished look
A massive pull-out table, great for laptops, meals, or rainy-day games
Bonus: You can pull out the bed slightly to form an L-shaped sofa, so two people can sit comfortably around the table. There’s also an extra cushion available for this section to make the corner seat even comfier.
Storage highlights: Water container storage in the part that extends by the sliding door
Sink placement options: front or side (for best water storage, don’t put it at the back)
Upper space for electrics (USB ports, battery, etc.)
There’s even a small inside door for access when it's raining and you don’t want to open the sliding door.
C5 Kitchen Unit The last part of the kit is the C5 kitchen unit. Above it, we’ve added the D5 top shelf (optional but really useful). Inside, you can fit:
Cool boxes like the Moycool F FR40
Or Carbest fridges (our top pick)
There’s a pull-out kitchen drawer to give you more prep space — handy for chopping veggies or making coffee while the bed is still extended.
Cooking setup:
Cook while the bed is out
Easy access for coffee, tea, porridge — whatever keeps you warm in the morning
Accessories
We’ve added more accessories for 2025 – and this van has two of them: D6 interior drawer: make your bed’s large storage ultra-accessible
D1 shelf: small but mighty, great for books, phones, or anything else you want within arm’s reach
Finishing & Build Info
This kit can be built in just one weekend - we deliver all the pieces to your door, flat-packed and ready to go. Finish it your way — paint, varnish, oil — totally up to you. And the whole thing only weighs around 60kg. That’s it.
