Preparing for the arrival of my Simple Vans furniture

To install your furniture you will need:

- wood glue, we recommend: this product – 750ml is generally sufficient for 1 kit complete, it will depend on the amount of glue you put.

- a screwdriver or screwdriver.

- “paint” masking tape to fix while the glue takes (optional)

We provide you with the screws and everything you need to install the doors, slides and drawers.

No, thanks to “Quick-Slot” technology, the furniture fits together perfectly! All you have to do is use wood glue to attach the parts together.

You can secure your furniture with removable fixing kits, which allow you to remove and put your furniture back into your van endlessly without tools or effort. It is recommended to install a 15mm floor to fix them.

It takes 2 kits per piece of furniture. Units A2 /A3 /A4 /A5 and A6 composed of 2 pieces of furniture.

- Minimalist kit: 4 kits
- Drifter kit: 8 kits
- Nomad kit: 8 kits
- Nomad XL Kit: 8 kits
- Full Timer Kit: 8 kits
- Full Kit Timer XL: 8 kits
- Seeker kit: 4 kits

We recommend putting oil or varnish on your furniture. We use oil from Rubio Monocoat. If you want a super natural look, we recommend the “hint of white” shade.

The simplest thing is to oil/varnish the furniture before gluing it, but be careful not to put oil or varnish on the tenons or mortises, because otherwise the glue will not adhere well. Don't forget to put oil on the part of the furniture that touches the floor, if you spill water on the floor, it is better that your furniture is fully protected.

Payment methods

Simple Vans offers you the choice between 2 options to pay for your order:

- Pay by bank card directly on the site
- Pay by bank transfer ( our IBAN will be presented to you at the end of the order process)

First of all, if you pay by bank transfer, we thank you, as this does not incur any additional costs for us. Then, simply validate the order and make the transfer to the IBAN indicated on the order page when you check bank transfer.

Please indicate your order number as the reason for the transfer. We know that transfers can take more or less time depending on the bank. As soon as we receive the transfer, we acknowledge receipt.

Delivery

For orders of more than 2 units, your order will be delivered to you in pallet with the carrier Géodis. Once the carrier has picked up your pallet, you will receive an SMS/email. You will then be able to follow its journey and you will be contacted to schedule a delivery to your home, according to your preferences.

For smaller orders, we go through the GLS carrier.
Delivery within 24/48 hours.

After-sales service / Modification of my order

Simply send us an email with what you want to modify. We will respond to you as soon as possible and validate this change with you.

Yes, no worries, this allows the problem to be resolved more quickly by having one less contact.

For any problems, please send an email to sav@simplevans.eu with the following information:

- Name of the piece of furniture presenting a problem (reference written on the exploded view or H2R reference on the invoice)

- Description of the problem and photos of the problem

- Defective or missing part reference. Please refer to the exploded view of the furniture.

- Your contact details if this problem requires a return of a part (delivery address and telephone number)

Please also check that you have no other problems with your furniture and that you have all the pieces so that we can make a combined shipment. We try to do our best to ensure that there are no defects on your furniture. However, if you encounter any problem, we will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Questions from our customers

Yes, it's totally normal. Some people prefer to have the two parts of the bed separated and others prefer to make a cutout to connect the two parts of the bed to be able to put ski equipment for example. The board with the hole therefore serves as a template for cutting the second board if necessary.

Yes, you just have to tell us when ordering or by sending us an email to info@simplevans.eu. In any case, Camille will contact you to validate your choice.

For gas, you must choose R904 or R901 from Camping gaz.
